6222 Patina Earth

Pigment of mineral origin.

They are earth or rock very finely ground (ochres, earths, natural oxides).

Of great resistance to light (inalterability to ultraviolet light), they are non-toxic, have a very strong covering power and are miscible with each other.

Advice :

With oil 100 g of pigment, 30 to 100 g of clarified linseed oil, 2 to 8 g of siccative, 1 to 3 g of purified beeswax -

Acrylic 100 g pigment, 40 to 60 g acrylic binder, sufficient water -

With beer 1 and a half liters of beer, 6 tablespoons of pigment -

In whitewash 2 kg of whitewash, 400 g of alum, 500 g of blanc de Meudon, 10 liters of water, pigment in sufficient quantity

In mortar Mix dry: lime, sand, pigment, add water little by little to obtain the desired consistency.
