Earthenware terracota grog 0-0.5 mm - CBP005

Limestone paste firing pink to dark beige depending on the temperature and atmosphere of the oven.

Intended for artistic ceramics, decorative or garden pottery.

Ideal for hand throwing or machine work.

Excellent drying behaviour, without deformation.

Enamelling not recommended.

Several humidities are proposed according to the technique used :

22% for hand throwing, 19% for pressing plaster moulds, 17% for pressing metal mould.

It is a paste that degas a lot and has a coefficient of expansion quite high, not all enamels are suitable.

It is important to biscuit at least 980°C and to make a baking stage of at least 1/2 hour.
